Media has released footage, showing that russian invaders lost 50P6 missile launcher of the S-350 medium-range SAM system in the temporarily occupied part of Luhansk Oblast due to a mine explosion. It is currently unknown under what conditions and when this happened, but it is clear that the surface-to-air missiles on the launchers did not detonate.
The fact that a launcher of air defense system was destroyed on a mine in rear area looks unusual. There are no other references of such cases in open sources. Therefore, it turns out that russian occupiers lost launcher of the surface-to-air missiles system due to mine explosion for the first time.

It is important to note that this was a very rare russian S-350 Vityaz SAM system.
The S-350 Vityaz is russian medium-range surface-to-air missile system developed by GSKB Almaz-Antey. Its purpose is to replace the S-300PS. It was adopted only in 2020, and russian army had only six launchers of such systems as of 2022.
According to open source data, it has the following characteristics:
-striking range of aerodynamic targets is up to 60 kilometers;
- striking range of ballistic targets is up to 20 kilometers;
-the system is claimed to be able to simultaneously fire up to 8 targets;
-the number of anti-aircraft missiles per launcher is 12.
russians also claim that the S-350 Vityaz system is allegedly capable of operating "in automatic mode" due to its high level of digitalization.
Earlier Defense Express reported that russia had got eighteen new combat jets in 2023, without Mentioning Su-57.
