The document emphasized that instructors should be prepared for the threat of russian surveillance.
The handbook states, "There are credible threats of espionage and subversion related to the training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the UK. Tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) include the use of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) and physical reconnaissance, as well as both virtual and in-person approaches to training providers and interest from investigative journalists."
russia may also be employing drones to monitor UK military bases and actively seeking out military instructors both online and in person to gather information.
