The Pokrovsk front is currently the most challenging situation. The Armed Forces have been defending against enemy assaults for several weeks, while russian forces continue their attempts to capture the city

russia's Ground Forces (RGF) are highly likely within ten kilometers from the edge of the city. The rate of advance is likely to slow as russian ground forces enter Pokrovsk’s built-up areas, the UK Defense Intelligence reports.

Britain emphasized that Pokrovsk is a key logistics center for the Donetsk region, and if captured, it is likely to lengthen and reroute existing Ukrainian supply lines. This will likely make it more difficult for Ukrainian Armed Forces to resupply and manoeuvre resources quickly to several key strongholds between Chasiv Yar and Vulhedar.
