russian forces are concentrating troops for offensive actions in the Kurakhove direction, with increased use of anti-thermal cloaks during nighttime operations, according to Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Khortytsia operational-strategic group, during a national telethon.
“They operate in small groups, attempting to seize buildings and bypass urban areas on the outskirts. While their groups are small, their overall numbers are significant,” Trehubov explained.

He noted that the russian army is focusing on improving its tactical position by amassing forces. Simultaneously, enemy artillery is targeting Ukrainian positions in Kurakhove but largely destroys empty structures, as Ukrainian troops remain well aware of their plans.
Over the past day, a total of 31 combat engagements were recorded in the Kurakhove direction. russian forces are attempting to breach Ukrainian defensive lines in urban areas of Kurakhove, as well as near Daleke, Dachne, and Uspenivka.
