"russia is using airfields in occupied Crimea for their intended purpose. At least five airfields are used," the spokesman of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Captain 3rd rank Dmytro Pletenchuk stated on the air of the national telethon.
He noted that two air bases no longer have the same workload that they had at the beginning of the full-scale invasion due to losses in aircraft.

"In fact, the activity of two airfields have been minimized. More airfields could have been used. There are many similar facilities in Crimea, but they use these," Pletenchuk said.
He added that russian forces do not want to redeploy its aviation to russia's territory for some tactical reasons, so they continues to use Crimean air bases.
Earlier Defense Express reported that russian occupiers had continued to strengthen Crimean bridge with barges and additional air defense systems.
