Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) planned to deliver the first twelve FA-50 Fighting Eagles to Poland before the end of 2023. This initial batch, consisting of all Block 10 aircraft, also known as FA-50GF (Gap Filler), arrived just in time. On December 28, 2023, the Polish Air Force proudly showcased all twelve aircraft neatly lined up in serial order at the 23rd Tactical Air Base in Mińsk Mazowiecki.
The order for the KAI FA-50 light attack aircraft was signed on July 28, 2022 and encompasses a total of 48 aircraft: 12 FA-50 Block 10 and 36 FA-50PL Block 20. The comprehensive contract also includes training programs, logistics packages and a dedicated technical support service, with a total value of USD 3 billion.
