The first wave of 2,600 North Korean infantrymen set to deploy with russian equipment

North Korean soldiers will be deployed to fight alongside russian forces in Ukraine by November 1. According to Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the first unit of 2,600 North Korean infantrymen will be sent to Kursk, russia. Additionally, approximately 11,000 North Korean soldiers are currently undergoing training in the east of russia in preparation for combat operations against Ukraine.

These soldiers are expected to be fully equipped with russian military gear and ammunition. Kyrylo Budanov stated that the first wave of troops will be ready for the deployment by November 1. However, it remains unclear where the remaining North Korean troops will be stationed, as intelligence has yet to gather a complete picture of their movements.
