The Netherlands to Provide Ukraine with 152mm Shells Worth €350 Million

Ukraine will receive over €350 million worth of 152mm shells as part of military support from the International Fund For Ukraine (IFU)

The Netherlands has declared the dispatch of 152-mm shells to Ukraine, amounting to over €350 million.

This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands.

The Dutch Ministry of Defense emphasized that, for security reasons, the exact quantity and delivery schedule of the 152-mm shells will not be disclosed.

"However, this represents one of the largest orders by IFU from the global arms industry," the ministry added.

According to the Dutch Ministry of Defense, In previous ammunition deliveries, Ukraine has received mainly 155mm shells for howitzers. However, the country also has a significant number of 152mm cannons. With the new delivery, these weapons can also be better utilized.

"The IFU was established by nine countries, including Australia, Denmark, Great Britain, Iceland, Lithuania, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Earlier, the Netherlands contributed €125 million to the fund. The purchase of the 152mm shells will be partially funded from this amount," reported the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands.
