To date, this compact-size, muzzle velocity radar -- a product by HC Ukrspetstechnika of the Ukrainian League of Defense Industries -- has successfully completed its industry testing program and reached the production stage.
The trials addressed the validation of the radar’s performance in measuring muzzle velocity of projectiles fired from various-caliber weapons ranging from self-propelled howitzers and mobile gun systems to mortars and handguns etc. Radar data was then automatically forwarded for adjustment of fire to firing squads and shooters.
