According to the Interfax-Ukraine, Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister of Strategic Industries, told this reporters.
"The entire defense budget for 2024 is about $40 billion. $30 billion is the salaries and payments to military personnel. $10 billion - the costs of fuel and lubricants, uniforms. Approximately $6 billion remains for the purchase of weapons. This is the amount we have today for contracts with our manufacturers, primarily Ukrainian, and it is very small, since our production capabilities are three times larger," Kamyshin said.

He noted that Ukraine is conducting negotiations with foreign partners regarding the purchase of products of the Ukrainian military industry at their expense, with the subsequent transfer of this equipment and weapons to the Armed Forces.
Kamyshin also said that in a number of positions, Ukraine is ready to cover needs at the expense of its own production. In 2024, this is armored vehicles, all types (land, air, sea) of unmanned systems, artillery systems.
