Ukraine's Defense Forces have received over 2,000 Wingman-type drone detectors from Danish company MyDefence since 2022.
The company today emphasizes significant growth in those wishing to purchase their products to protect various facilities, including airports and other infrastructure, from intrusions by enemy unknown unmanned aerial vehicles, which have been regularly detected over both military and civilian sites in Europe in recent months.

This is reported by Defense News. Danish company MyDefence emphasizes that the war in Ukraine became a turning point for their company regarding various anti-drone systems.
Last year, MyDefence managed to double its profit compared to 2023 results, and earlier this year the company signed a record historic contract worth $76 million.
The Wingman device is essentially a standard drone detector, which is now in high demand in our military - today Ukraine's Defense Forces also have Ukrainian analogues of such systems like "Tsukorok" or "Chuyka," which warn soldiers about the approach of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Danish Wingman is produced in two versions Wingman 103 and Wingman 105. Previously, media reported on supplies to Ukraine of these devices specifically in the Wingman 103 version.
In fact, these versions differ in their level of portability weight (1,100 grams in the junior 103 version and 840 grams in 105), dimensions (respectively, 103 is bulkier), and operating time (14 hours without broadband antenna and 10 hours with WideBand XF antenna in 103 version and 7 and 6 hours respectively in 105 version).

Otherwise, both detectors have identical characteristics - operating range up to 6 km, drone detection time up to 10 seconds, detection frequency ranges from 200 MHz to 6 GHz with WideBand XF broadband antenna and 2.4 GHz, 5.2 GHz and 5.8 GHz without. With the antenna, 360-degree coverage angle drone detection is provided, without 90 degrees horizontally and vertically.
