On March 13, at 9:32 a.m., a Russian UAV (type not specified) was shot down by the Air Defense force of the 6th Army of the Russian Armed Forces from the TOR SAM at 3,200 m near the VESELE settlement. This information was reported by the press service of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, the Russian Air Defense forces reported to the leadership on the destruction of the UAV "Bayraktar TB2" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
But the results of the investigation into the reasons for the disappearance of the Russian UAV proved the fact that it was shot down by its own air defense missiles. The Russian army command decided to hide this information.
