French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that France will supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the Mirage 2000 fighter jets as part of its military assistance. In addition, the country will provide training for Ukrainian pilots.
“France is committed to supporting Ukrainians in their resistance efforts, but we do not seek escalation. Specifically, during my meeting with President Zelenskyy tomorrow, we will initiate new cooperation, including the provision of the Mirage 2000-5 jets and pilot training,” Emmanuel Macron emphasized.

Furthermore, the French President confirmed the authorization of strikes on russian territory using French missiles.
