Explosions rocked Mariupol, currently under temporary occupation, on July 12, with visible smoke billowing over the city. Initial reports indicate that the strike occurred in the vicinity of an airport

Mariupol City Council reported the information.

According to residents, explosions were heard in Mariupol's Prymorskyi district and surrounding areas, with visible smoke reported. Local Telegram channels also indicated russian air defense systems were activated.

"Preliminary reports suggest a possible strike near the airport. It's noted that the self-proclaimed russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnulin and Denis Pushilin were recently in the vicinity," the message stated.
