Recently, we talked about the fact that the russian army is actively shifting echelons with its tanks in Belarus from the northern and central regions to the south - closer to the borders with Ukraine.
However, as later noted in the "Беларускі Гаюн" (Belarusian Hajun project) community, the "route" of some of the echelons turned out to be rather strange - they stood for some time at the place of arrival, and then simply drove back - without any unloading of equipment.

For example, echelon "number 1" (see the map above) left Polonka station in the morning on December 20 and arrived at Lunynets station in the afternoon. After standing there for almost a day without unloading, he went back to Polonka station. The echelon transported, in particular, 23 T-80 tanks.
At the same time, echelon "number 2" drove from Zaslonovo station to the same Polonka station - it left on the morning of December 20, when it arrived in Polonka - it stood there for about 13 hours, and then - without unloading, it went back to Zaslonovo again. Among the weapons carried by the echelon were 31 T-72B3 and T-80 tanks.
Such strange "movements" of russian equipment are actually difficult to explain - either they want to confuse or create an "illusion" of tension on the northern border of Ukraine. Or they simply check how quickly they can transfer equipment in the event of an "overrun".
At the same time, the other day it was also reported that the russian federation is preparing a provocation in Belarus with the help of the Wagnerites. For this, as many as 80-90 mercenaries with light armored and engineering equipment were driven to the area of the village of Krupeyki, which is not far from the border with Ukraine.
