Answering a question about the prospects for the creation of Ukrainian-Polish military enterprises, the diplomat noted that such cooperation exists between Ukraine and Poland. It includes the production of drones, tank repair, as well as development in the field of high technologies.
Lukasiewicz also confirmed that a Ukrainian defense industrial complex plant has been built in Poland, but refused to go into more detail.
“Some countries that declare such cooperation (for example, the construction of a plant for the production of military equipment) are geographically located far from the Russian Federation. And since nothing threatens them, they can talk about it. Our country is located very close, and therefore we do not talk about it. That is, the issue of geographic location in this context is very important,” explained the head of the Polish diplomatic mission.
It should be noted that joint ventures for the production of weapons for Ukraine are in the Czech Republic, Germany, France… Also, a number of weapons manufacturers have become co-founders of enterprises in Ukraine.
As Defense Express reported, Multiple Countries Invested $931 Million in Ukraine's Defense Industry in 2024.
