Since the start of the full-scale invasion, global software and cloud services leader SAP from Germany has been a staunch supporter of the country, Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, reports.
One impactful example of SAP’s support is the system they implemented for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. This system helps manage critical resources, streamlining the processing of requests from brigades for essential supplies. This not only saves valuable time but also ensures that resources are allocated effectively.

The reach of SAP’s solutions extends to the crucial domain of medical procurement as well. They’ve implemented a cloud-based platform that helps quickly identify and engage suppliers who can deliver life-saving medical goods. Additionally, SAP has assisted in setting up comprehensive catalogs for searching and comparing prices of specific medical products, enabling more cost-effective procurement.
SAP is investing in the country’s future by planning to localize their products to the tune of nearly €2 million in 2024. This localization effort will make SAP’s solutions more accessible and relevant to the Ukrainian market, fostering long-term growth and development.
