A photo of a Ukrainian Su-24M bomber with Kh-25 missiles appeared on the Internet

The Ukraine Weapons Tracker Twitter profile posted a video depicting the flight of a Su-24M bomber of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine armed with two Kh-25 air-to-ground missiles.

The authors of the post indicate that these are missiles of the X-25MR modification, which have radio-command guidance, a warhead weight of up to 140 kg and a firing range of up to 10 km. But commentators deny that the plane is actually carrying X-25ML laser-guided missiles in the video.

Even if in this case it is difficult to establish the exact modification of the Kh-25 missile, which is suspended under the Su-24M bomber, here we can safely say that the Air Force of Ukraine has "lit up" that it has rare guided missiles for attack aircraft. Because there is publicly available data that in 2021, the pilots of Ukraine’s Su-24M conducted practical launches of the Kh-25ML only once.
