Turkish defense company Baykar continues weapons integration into its Kizilelma unmanned aerial vehicle, which it calls world's first unmanned fighter, and conducted another testing of this drone with weaponry, also Turkish-made.
During July 25 tests, Kizilelma serial prototype with tail number S2 participated in testing with launch of Teber-82 aviation bomb manufactured by Roketsan. Several days later, July 28, drone engaged target with Tolun-P aviation bomb from Aselsan company. As SavunmaSanayiST publication reports, both tests were marked by high target hit accuracy.

And although back last autumn at minimum Teber-82 was already launched from third prototype (PT3) of Kizilelma unmanned fighter, during new testing was first time launches occurred not from external suspension nodes but from drone internal bay.
Although using only drone internal bay reduces capabilities to take more weapons per flight and engage more targets, at same time it enables it to conduct precision strikes while preserving low radar observability.
Teber from Roketsan is guidance kit that transforms aviation bombs into precision engagement asset — in this case involving Mk-82 aviation bomb, for which circular deviation from target of less than 3 m is provided.
Tolun-P is aviation bomb from Aselsan of same-name family, equipped with penetrating warhead that can pierce up to 1 m of reinforced concrete. Warhead mass is 105 kg, launch range from drone up to 57 km.
Recall Turkish Kizilelma unmanned fighter is equipped with Ukrainian-made engines, starting from fourth prototype (PT4) this involves more powerful AI-322F, which replaced AI-25TLT. Although worth noting Turkey, naturally, works on eventually equipping these drones with engines of their own production.
Previously Defense Express reported Baykar's Kızılelma unmanned fighter with Ukrainian engine received first export customer, which became Indonesia.
