Thanks to the wheeled chassis, HIMARS possess impressive operational mobility, allowing them to shuttle between entire operational directions.

High-precision HIMARS systems operated by Ukrainian Armed Forces in the quantity of four units as for now, demonstrate maximum operational mobility by striking enemy rear bases along the entire frontline.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed a new video showing these rocket launchers work in the Zaporizhzhia direction, southern Ukraine.

And the following video features the launches from the same region at night, "on multiple targets simultaneously", as written in the General Staff's note:

As a matter of fact, such videos are posted with a certain delay, after the systems have not only completed the task, but also moved to another area. Most likely, these footage show HIMARS firing on the russian base in Melitopol, which was attacked just yesterday, on July 3. As evidence, we can identify the launch area based on the available footage.

And then, just today the news came through that the ammunition storage base in occupied Snizhne was hit by a high-precision strike. This city is located in eastern Ukraine, russian forces' rear about 70 km away from the frontline.

There is more. In general, about ten warehouses of the russian Air Force have already flown into the air at a depth of 60-70 km from the contact line in different directions, which most likely speaks specifically to the work of HIMARS.

At the same time, only three HIMARS launchers are seen in the footage, while only two are firing, and the third is "just in case".

Thus, one more launcher remained in another direction, or is being kept in reserve at all. It should also be pointed out that the launches are carried out directly from the road in order to leave the position as quickly as possible once done.
