The russian company "Ten'" (ed. – shadow in russian), which is engaged in the development of detectors of unmanned aerial vehicles, complained that the Ukrainian Defense Forces may receive new Hornet-2 strike UAVs, which can operate as part of a swarm and have a significant level of autonomy with the need for just minimal intervention from the operator, who only makes the decision to directly strike the target.
russians say that the tests of this drone were held in June this year in Spain, and emphasizes that the drone is "the result of the work of the US and the EU on the creation of a drone swarm control system called Hivemind, where human participation is minimized."

The Hornet-2 that the russians are talking about really exists - it is a UAV by the Dutch company Destinus, which is known for its Ruta cruise missiles, which have been hitting targets in russia for a long time. There are currently two versions of this drone - Hornet Block 1 (subsonic threat interceptor system) and Hornet Block 2 (dual-role system enabling both subsonic threat interception and controlled precision strike within a single platform).
These drones are indeed equipped with Hivemind artificial intelligence by the American defense company Shield AI. In particular, Shield AI, together with Destinus, has already conducted a series of tests, in which they tested the integration of Hivemind AI into Hornet, which operated as part of a swarm under the control of V-BAT reconnaissance drones.
In this case, we are talking about creating an interesting reconnaissance and strike circuit, thanks to which the issue of destroying russian military logistics can be put on an almost autonomous flow.
At the same time, it is possible that russians are confusing two different drones with the same name. Because, in addition to the Hornet by the Dutch Destinus (it is officially unknown whether this UAV is in service with the Ukrainian Defense Forces, although such a possibility is not excluded), there is also the Hornet by the Perennial Autonomy (previously called Swift Beat) company of the former head of Google Eric Schmidt. And it is these Hornets that have been highly effective in the hands of the Defense Forces drone operators in recent months.
By the way, earlier the russian company "Ten'" boasted that they allegedly managed to "train" their drone detectors to detect Ukrainian Hornets, noting that the developers of these strike drones resorted to non-standard approaches to make them harder to detect.
