Experts say that with the appearance in Ukraine of APKWS rockets received from Germany, the Ukrainian military will be able to shoot down even more enemy drones

The Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to get a non-standard version of the Russian Orlan-10 drone as a trophy. In particular, a photo of the strike version of this reconnaissance UAV, which today is a rather rare trophy for the defenders of Ukraine, was distributed on the Internet.

It became known about the appearance of the strike version of the Orlan-10 UAV back in May 2022, and it was actively promoted by russian propagandists as a "unique development carried out at the factory level."

In fact, judging by the photos presented on the Internet, we can conclude that there is nothing unique about the UAV set - the Russians simply attached two containers to the standard "Orlan-10" UAV, which can hold two 40-mm free-falling fragmentation warheads high-explosive bombs with 100-150 g of explosives.

At the same time, in the context of another downing of an enemy UAV, it is worth mentioning that Germany has already sent ground-launched APKWS laser-guided rockets to Ukraine, that showed impressive results during additional tests against drones. In view of this, a new enemy has appeared for russian UAVs which will ensure that these "birds" fly less in the Ukrainian sky.
