On the border with belarus, the engineering units of the State Border Service of Ukraine are working to install various types of engineering barriers, despite the change in weather conditions.

"Anti-tank ditches are being dug along the entire section of the Ukrainian-belarusian border. We continue the construction of reinforced concrete, metal mesh barriers, and barbed wire fences of the Yegoza type. We are also installing anti-tank concrete pyramids in open areas," said Andriy Demchenko, assistant to the Head of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

In addition, in cooperation with units of the Defense Forces, minefields are being reinforced in areas under risk.
Additionally, he notes that both departmental special equipment and equipment received as assistance are used by border guards for conducting the work. The fortification efforts are also taking place with the active support of local authorities.

"Currently, the situation on the border with Belarus is fully under control. However, we acknowledge the threat, as this country continues to support russia in the war against our country. Intelligence units are consistently monitoring the situation on the other side of the border to assess the threat level for a timely response," Andriy Demchenko said.
