This operation underscores the effectiveness of drone warfare in Ukraine’s ongoing efforts to disrupt russian artillery capabilities

Ukrainian fighters of the Kryla unit, part of the Active Actions Department of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, successfully destroyed russian Msta-S self-propelled artillery system in a recent operation. The Msta-S, a 152 mm howitzer known for its long-range firepower, plays a key role in russian artillery strikes.

To neutralize this threat, Ukrainian scouts from the Kryla unit deployed two FPV drones. These long-range drones, equipped with explosives and controlled via real-time video feed, allow precise targeting. The use of FPV drones has become increasingly popular in modern warfare for its ability to deliver pinpoint strikes while minimizing risk to personnel.
