Ukrainian forces have destroyed rare russian Zemledeliye remote mine-laying system on the Zaporizhzhia front, dealing another blow to Moscow's specialized engineering capabilities. The strike was carried out by fighters of the Asgard Battalion, operating within the Nemesis 412th Brigade.
Combat footage released by the brigade shows an FPV drone accurately striking the engineering vehicle. After the initial hit, Ukrainian operators launched a follow-up attack, which ignited the system and left the target engulfed in flames, indicating it had been severely damaged or destroyed.

The Zemledeliye is one of russia's newest engineering assets, first unveiled during the 2020 Victory Day parade in Moscow. Unlike conventional mine-laying methods, the system enables russian forces to rapidly establish minefields from a safe distance, complicating Ukrainian maneuver operations.
Mounted on a heavy KamAZ chassis, the vehicle launches specialized rockets that scatter anti-personnel or anti-tank mines across designated areas between five and fifteen kilometers away. Its computerized fire-control system automatically records the location of deployed minefields, allowing russian units to monitor and manage them more effectively.
As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian Special Operations Forces targeted the Balaklava Thermal Power Plant in Sevastopol, damaging infrastructure critical to Crimea's electricity supply and russian military operations.
