Ukrainian forces launched precision strikes before dawn, destroying russian BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system, four artillery guns, and two military vehicles before they could engage Ukrainian positions

Ukrainian forces destroyed russian BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system, four artillery pieces, and two military vehicles during a series of precision strikes carried out early in the morning, according to the 42nd Brigade.

The brigade said the operation began at around 5 am, when Ukrainian troops launched coordinated attacks against russian artillery positions before they could open fire on Ukrainian defensive lines. The strike was based on timely reconnaissance and close coordination between intelligence assets, the Perun unit, and the brigade's 3rd Mechanized Battalion.

According to the brigade, the russian artillery positions were identified and engaged before they were able to carry out planned fire missions. By striking first, Ukrainian forces denied the enemy an opportunity to bombard frontline positions, highlighting the importance of rapid target detection and counterbattery capabilities.

Among the confirmed losses was the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system, one of the most widely used indirect fire systems in russian service. The strikes also destroyed four artillery guns and two military vehicles that were supporting the battery's operations.

The brigade described the operation as an exceptionally successful start to the day, stating that its units had delivered "an incredibly powerful morning" by destroying multiple pieces of enemy equipment in quick succession. Video released alongside the announcement captured several successful strikes against the identified targets.
