The operation was carried out using Ukrainian Barracuda unmanned surface vessels, which served as launch platforms for FPV strike drones. The boats, operated by the marines, approached the designated launch area before deploying the drones against russian vessels.

Russian forces attempted to disrupt the operation by attacking one of the Ukrainian USVs with two Shahed-type strike drones. The brigade noted that the cost of the russian drones was significantly higher than that of the target they were used against.

One of the Ukrainian boats was damaged in the attack, but the remaining vessels continued the mission. After reaching the launch point, the USVs launched FPV drones, which were then directed toward russian boats carrying the personnel.

The Ukrainian operators quickly identified the enemy vessels and carried out a series of precise strikes. According to the brigade, the attacks destroyed the russian landing party and prevented the planned troop rotation.
