Operators from Ukraine's Phoenix unmanned aerial systems unit have destroyed multiple pieces of russian military equipment, including two tanks, an artillery system, and military vehicles, in another demonstration of the growing effectiveness of FPV drone operations on the battlefield.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine released combat footage showing the strikes, highlighting the Phoenix unit's ability to engage both moving and concealed targets with precision. The operation resulted in the destruction of valuable armored vehicles as well as russian personnel.

One of the primary targets was russian T-72 main battle tank positioned in open terrain. Despite the vehicle being equipped with improvised anti-drone protection, the drone operator skillfully adjusted the flight path and guided the FPV drone through a gap in the protective structure before striking the tank directly.
The second armored vehicle destroyed during the operation was the T-62 tank concealed in a camouflaged firing position. Although the older Soviet-era tank had also been fitted with makeshift protective measures designed to defeat drone attacks, the defenses proved ineffective, and the vehicle was destroyed.
In addition to the two tanks, the Phoenix operators struck russian artillery system and military transport vehicles, further degrading the enemy's fire support and battlefield mobility. The released footage also indicates that russian personnel were eliminated during the series of attacks.
