Ukrainian forces struck a series of russian military targets in temporarily occupied Crimea, Luhansk region, and russia's Belgorod region on August 22 and overnight into August 23, according to Ukraine's General Staff. The reported strikes targeted drone infrastructure, radar equipment, logistics facilities, and russian repair units.

One of the reported targets was a facility in Chornomorske in temporarily occupied Crimea used to launch and store russian unmanned surface vessels. These systems are used by russian forces for operations in the Black Sea, making their storage and launch infrastructure an important military target.

The same area was also targeted for its role in russia's drone operations. Ukrainian forces struck a ground-based relay station used to control Geran and Gerbera attack drones. Such relay infrastructure can extend communications and enable russian forces to operate unmanned systems over greater distances.

Another reported target was the ST-68 radar station in Yevpatoria, Crimea. The system is designed to detect and track aerial targets, meaning its loss could affect eussia's ability to monitor the airspace around its military facilities in the peninsula.

The strikes also targeted russian logistics. Ukrainian forces hit military supply warehouses in Dzhankoi, a major logistics hub in northern Crimea, as well as another storage facility in Chaiky, Belgorod region, inside russia. The General Staff did not provide details on the types or quantities of equipment and supplies stored at the facilities.

Russian repair capabilities were also targeted. According to the Ukrainian military, repair units were struck in the Dzhankoi area and near Kadiivka in temporarily occupied Luhansk region. Damage to such facilities can disrupt the restoration and return of damaged military equipment to operational units.
