​Ukraine Targets Military and Oil Facilities in russia and Temporarily Occupied Territories

The Defense Forces of Ukraine conducted precision strikes on russian military and oil facilities, particularly in occupied areas

On the night of December 14, the Defense Forces of Ukraine launched strikes on russian strategic and military targets, both on russian territory and in temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine. The results of the strikes were detailed in a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the statement, Ukrainian forces targeted the Afipsky oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai, russia, aiming to weaken enemy offensive capabilities and disrupt the logistics of russian occupation forces. The target area experienced explosions and a large fire, with the extent of the damage still being evaluated.

The Uryupinsk oil depot in russia's Volgograd region was hit as well, with explosions and a large fire reported.

In addition, strikes were carried out on enemy targets in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

"In the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, Ukrainian forces struck the Volna-2 electronic warfare system, two command posts of the occupiers’ 76th Air Assault Division, as well as the Imbir radar," the statement reads.

The General Staff also reported that a Tor-M2 air defense system and an enemy unmanned systems laboratory were struck in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In temporarily occupied Crimea, Ukrainian forces struck two fuel and lubricant bases, the Kasta-2E2 radar, and the 96L6E radar, a key component of the S-300/S-400 air defense systems. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.

"The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue measures to weaken the offensive capabilities of Russian occupation forces and compel the Russian Federation to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine. To be continued. Glory to Ukraine!" the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine concluded.

Earlier Defense Express reported that Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi had detailed Ukraine's recent military gains.
