Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces say they have struck 21 vessels, including 19 shadow fleet tankers, while also attacking dozens of military and energy targets across temporarily occupied Crimea and south of Ukraine

Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces have announced one of their most extensive long-range operations to date, claiming confirmed strikes against 21 vessels and dozens of military targets across occupied Crimea and southern Ukraine within the last 72 hours.

According to Major Robert Madyar Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Ukrainian drones successfully struck 19 tankers associated with russia's shadow fleet, one cargo ship, and one ferry operating in Kerch.

He added that an additional nine shadow fleet tankers were hit in the Sea of Azov during the latest phase of the campaign.

The operation involved multiple specialized drone units, including the Kairos unit, the 413th Regiment, and the 1st Separate Center.

Beyond maritime targets, Ukrainian drones reportedly struck 53 military targets overnight across occupied Crimea and the southern occupied territories of Ukraine.

Energy infrastructure also remained a primary objective. As part of the ongoing operation codenamed Crimean Switch Off, Ukrainian forces reportedly hit six additional electrical substations. According to the Unmanned Systems Forces, a total of 50 energy facilities in occupied territories have been targeted between July 1 and July 8.

Ukrainian officials said the campaign also damaged other high-value military assets, although details have not yet been disclosed. A more comprehensive report on the results of the operation is expected to be released later, potentially providing further insight into the extent of the damage inflicted on russian forces.
