The U.S. has begun to actively suspect russia of transferring intelligence data, missile and other military technologies to Iran, although the Kremlin is not hiding it much

During the combat actions against Iran, which have recently escalated again, the U.S. military has encountered the fact that the effectiveness of Iranian long-range attacks using Shahed drones as well as ballistic missiles has improved.

In particular, the original Iranian Shahed-136 UAVs have become more resistant to electronic warfare, and their accuracy now allows them to hit the same object directly in the hole from the previous hit. At the same time, Iran attacked a number of secret CIA facilities, which required appropriate targeting from intelligence sources that are unlikely to be available to Tehran, writes Reuters, relying on its own sources, directly hinting at russia.

The reason for the better capabilities of the Shahed-136 is the well-known jamming-resistant CRPA antenna "Kometa-M". At the same time, Defense Express recalls that in early March this year, photos of the wreckage of the russian Geran-2 UAV (russia’s version of Iranian Shahed UAV) appeared in the UAE after the attack on the port of Jebel Ali. But their authenticity has not been officially confirmed.

At the same time, the Wall Street Journal indicates that Iranian ballistic missiles have become faster and have begun to maneuver during the attack on the target. At the same time, the publication also only hints at russia's participation in the technological development of Iranian weapons.

We would like to add that a video is circulating online showing an Iranian ballistic missile, evading interceptor missiles, hitting the King Faisal Air Base – the main air base of the Jordanian Air Force, where American forces are also based.

Recall that Defense Express, based on an analysis of a video showing the rather controversial effectiveness of the Patriot SAM system in the Persian Gulf countries in repelling Iranian attacks, made an assumption in March of this year about russia's participation in the modernization of Iranian ballistic missiles.

In particular, a video showing an attempt to repel an attack on the American Al-Udeid air base in Qatar on February 28 of this year is quite revealing. This video records a consecutive miss of three anti-ballistic missiles at once.

It is worth recalling that earlier information was actively spread about Iran's transfer of Fateh-110, Zolfaghar, and Fath-360 ballistic missiles to russia. The latter arrived at the Ashuluk range, which is traditionally used for weapons testing. At the same time, no use of these missiles against Ukraine has been recorded.

It is quite possible that RUSSIA has assessed them, developed ways to modernize them, and transferred the relevant technologies to Iran. This, if confirmed, will obviously require Washington to take a completely different approach in relations with the russian federation, as a country that directly supports Iran with intelligence, missile and other military technologies.
