Czech PBS Group company group, specializing specifically in jet engines and being large European supplier of drone and missile components, expands its cooperation with American defense company Zone 5 Technologies, announced at Farnborough International Airshow held July 20-24 in Britain.
Czech company will supply jet engines for White Spike interceptor developed and manufactured by Zone 5 Technologies, designed for countering unmanned aerial vehicles.Armádní noviny reports this.

As PBS Group owner William Didden emphasized, technologies today must be not only advanced but also available in necessary quantities considering modern conflict realities.
"Our significant investments in production capacities in United States reflect our long-term commitment to supporting American defense-industrial base and strengthening potential of United States and their NATO allies," he emphasized.

Engines for White Spike drones will be supplied from PBS Group production enterprise located in American state of Georgia, in city of Roswell.
Regarding White Spike, Zone 5 Technologies positions it as full platform with launcher, C2 (command and control) system and same-name interceptor. It has range over 50 km and, as stated, is approximately twice cheaper than competing systems, although its cost was not officially disclosed.

Details about PBS Group and Zone 5 Technologies agreement are reported by @praisethesteph on X social network account. This involves company supplying TJ40 and TJ80 engines. Terms regarding engine quantity, cost, delivery timelines have not yet been disclosed.
Interestingly, Czech PBS Group also cooperates with American Zone 5 Technologies on another project directly relating to Ukraine — specifically AGM-188A Rusty Dagger cruise missile, which became one of missiles that launched entire cheap long-range weapons class in U.S.
Cooperation between these two companies became known back in early this year, subsequently specialized media wrote about engine supply, likely TJ80, for EPAM program cruise missiles, which Rusty Dagger specifically is.
