That is according to Ukraine’s General Staff operational update regarding the russian invasion as of 06.00, on January 30, 2023.
Ukrainian forces have repelled enemy attacks near the Luhansk region’s Bilohorivka and the Donetsk region’s Rozdolivka, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Ivanivske,Klishchiivka, Druzhba, Vodiane, Marinka, Pobieda, Vuhledar and Prechystivka on Friday.

According to the latest media reports, one killed, three injured in Russia’s strike on residential building in Kharkiv amid occupier’s S-300 missile hit a 4-story residential building in Kyivskyi district in Kharkiv. The russian army killed one civilian and injured another one n Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region, on January 29. russian troops attacked six territorial communities in Sumy region - a total of 72 strikes were recorded on Sunday too. Invaders also used banned munitions to attack populated areas of Beryslav district, Kherson region.
As the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine states, the enemy is conducting offensive operations on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivsk axes; on other axes – on the defensive. Units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in vicinities of Bilogorivka, Luhansk Oblast, and Yampolivka, Rozdolivka, Vasyukivka, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Kurdyumivka, and Ozaryanivka, Donetsk Oblast.
Key points of the report:
- Volyn, Polissya, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the situation has not changed significantly, and no offensive groups of the enemy have been detected. With mortars and artillery, the enemy shelled the areas of Hrinivka and Krasny Khutir settlements of Chernihiv Oblast; Volfine, Pisarivka and Zapsilya - Sumy and Odnorobivka, Chervona Zorya, Veterinarne, Strelecha, Glyboke, Zelene, Neskuchne, Ternova, Staritsa, Verkhnya Pisarivka, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Budarky and Novomlynsk of the Kharkiv Oblast.
- Kupyansk axis: the areas of Dvorichna, Vilshana, Sinkivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Krokhmalne, Berestov, Zeleny Gai, Vyshneve in Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka and Andriivka in Luhansk Oblast were shelled.
- Lyman axis: Makiivka, Nevske, Chervopopivka, Kreminna and Dibrova in the Luhansk Oblast and Terna and Yampolivka in the Donetsk Oblast were damaged by fire.
- Bakhmut axis: Spirne, Berestov, Bilogorivka, Rozdolivka, Bakhmut, Diliivka, Druzhba and New York of the Donetsk Oblast were affected by fire.
- Avdiivka axis: Severne, Vodyane, Pervomaiske Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka came under enemy artillery fire.
- Novopavlivka axis: Bogoyavlenka, Vugledar, Neskuchne and Velika Novosilka of the Donetsk Oblast were under enemy fire.
- Zaporizhzhia axis: the areas of more than 15x settlements were affected by enemy artillery fire, in particular, Vremivka and Novopil of the Donetsk Oblast; Poltavka, Malynivka, Chervone, Gulyaipole, Charivne, Novodanilivka, Orihiv, Novoandriivka of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Nikopol - Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
- Kherson axis: the russian occupiers shelled the suburbs and the city of Kherson. There are casualties among civilians.
According to the Ukraine’s General Staff operational report, the enemy continues to suffer losses. About 20x bodies of dead occupiers from the districts of Novobakhmutivka and Mayorsk were brought to one of the local morgues in Horlivka, Donetsk Oblast, only on January 28.
During the day January 29, Ukraine’s aircraft struck the enemy's anti-aircraft missile complex and made 2x strikes on the areas of concentration of the occupiers. Missile and artillery units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit 2x radar stations, an ammunition depot and one other important enemy object.
Ukraine’s General Staff also warns that the threat of further russian air and missile strikes remains high across Ukraine.
