What is known about Ukraine's new strike with the Flamingo cruise missiles on the russian Titan-Barrikady military-industrial company based in Volgograd, which may be quite successful judging by the percentage of missiles that hit the target

The Defense Forces of Ukraine have carried out another strike with FP-5 Flamingo long-range cruise missiles on a facility of the russian military-industrial complex. This time, the target was the Titan-Barrikady federal scientific and production center, which specializes in missile and artillery technology. This is a full-cycle enterprise with a wide range of competence - from design and R & D to large-scale production of weapons.

The enterprise is located in Volgograd, approximately 300 km from the border with Ukraine and is strategically important for the russian federation. The enterprise produces self-propelled launchers and ground equipment for the Iskander mobile short-range ballistic missile systems, as well as for the Topol-M and Yars intercontinental ballistic missile systems. It was also previously reported that this enterprise is involved in the production of the Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missile system. In addition, this enterprise is involved in the production of artillery systems – the Msta-S self-propelled howitzer and the Msta-B towed howitzer.

The attack was carried out on the night of Saturday, June 27. The Governor of the Volgograd Region, Andrei Bocharov, reported repelling the attack of "high-speed air targets" and "damage to production facilities of one of the enterprises" as well as ten victims of the strike. Although the russians report on their social networks that the number of injured workers at the defense industry enterprise may be higher:

It is currently known that at least five missiles were launched at the facility. As identified by OSINT specialists from Dnipro Osint, at least three missiles could have hit targets, namely two different workshops, as well as the production building of another workshop.

This may be one of the most successful strikes with Flamingo cruise missiles in terms of the percentage of missiles that hit the target. For example, during the attack on VNIIR-Progress plant, one out of six missiles reached the target, the percentage of missiles that broke through the enemy's air defenses was 16%, and this is actually quite normal statistics.

During the second attack on the same facility, already in June, there were approximately five missiles, one of which hit the target (20%) and another one almost reached the target, hitting the road in front of the plant.

In the case of the attack on the Titan-Barrikady plant, if satellite images confirm the hit of three missiles, then we are talking about an accuracy of 60%. This can be explained by a number of factors – the careful route planning, as well as the fact that the russian authorities are redeploying air defense assets to protect Moscow, where Ukrainian weapons of destruction are increasingly arriving.
